This versatile double-sided jacket features a playful chindi patchwork which reverses to an elegant floral block print on a dark rose medium-weight herringbone weave. Hand embroidery embellishments on both sides. Chindi patchwork colors and patterns may vary due to the variety of upcycled fabrics. Generously cut - consider sizing down for a less oversized look.

Renewing Materials, New Lives

MarketPlace's Chindi collection makes scraps stylish while training new artisans. The chindi, small fabric pieces left over from cutting garments, are recycled into new clothing, accessories and embellishments in a variety of ways. After being cut into uniform pieces, the chindi are sewn together by trainees learning to sew straight and accurate seams on the sewing machines. Look for the C sign next to products to see the creative ways the artisans have incorporated chindis.

I love having reversible jackets for when I travel. This looks nice, crisp on the black side and more relaxed on the pink side. It definitely runs large, however. I normally wear a 3X and this is loose and comfortable in a 2X.
