Working For Independence
Artisan discussion meetings have covered a wide range of issues over the years. Recently the theme has been about the values that are most important to the women. One of the qualities that came up repeatedly in the talks was Independence. These women have fought hard for the right to make their own decisions and have their voices heard. Seema shared that for her, “Independence means being able to work and support my family and making a home and identity for myself in Mumbai.”

I really like this dress. As with most Marketplace clothes, the fit is generous, so if you prefer a more tailored fit, consider ordering a size down.

Those Colors!! Beautiful but....

I loved the combo of the prints and colors, but the dress was not for me; it ran large and was not flattering, so I returned it. I wish it came in petite sizes.
