Cardinal red block print on off-white makes a cheery dress that can be worn as a shirt or jacket. With shoulders that are a little dropped plus a drop-waist and soft gathers, it fits like a slightly oversized shirt. Hand embroidery embellishments on the bodice. Generously cut - consider sizing down for a less oversized look.

Zero Waste–Plastic Collection

The Social Action program fosters interest in working to conserve the environment in our everyday lives. For example, some artisan groups gave steel bottles as Diwali gifts to discourage single–use plastic bottles. Informative sessions about Zero Waste inspired the artisans to start collecting plastic waste. They worked with NGO's in three different neighborhoods. After collection drives they brought the plastic in for collection. The biggest haul was at Santacruz on February 1, 2021 where artisans collected 22kg of waste. The women are committed to monthly drives.

Cute Dress

The dress was very pretty, but not quite right for me. I am 5'0" and the dress was just too voluminous. I would have liked a petite version, with less gathered fabric around the middle and the back. If it had fit I would have given it 5 stars
