Learning without Schools
Artisan leaders and staff social workers are supervising the children as they try to continue their school work at home. They keep in touch by phone and distribute worksheets and assignments. It is a huge challenge for the students to concentrate at home, since the tiny space can be crowded with 5 to 8 people. The parents, especially those who do not know how to read or write, depend on this support to keep their children on track. While not a perfect substitute for schools, this is keeping the children engaged and learning. Click here to learn more.

Beautiful, flattering, and comfy

I have been shopping for kaftans and kurtas for some time. This is my first purchase from Marketplace India, and I am absolutely delighted with it. The piece is beautifully made, the fabrics are gorgeous, and the embroidery is so neatly done. I especially love the fabric pieces selected for the front panel and how they are arranged. I'll be back for more!

I love this top as I do most everything I get from you. I will always shop with you. I recommend you highly to others and in fact, recently purchased an outfit for a friend for her birthday after she admired a Kurta top of yours I was wearing. I had her go to the site and she put some things on a "wish list" which made it very easy to shop for her! You are wonderful and I'm a regular with you and will continue to be. I wish you all the best! You do great work!
