Refusing to tolerate violence
In one study 65% of Indian men think women should put up with violence for the sake of the family and that women sometimes deserve to be beaten. Another survey found that 38% of the men admit they have physically abused their partners. It's no wonder that spousal abuse is often tolerated and ignored. The artisans, however, tackled it head-on, with street plays performed right in the neighborhoods. The plays were written to shame the abusers and offer help to the abused.

I love this top
May 30, 2019
By AnneTJo
I have this top in three colors. It is cool, comfortable, and a great alternative to tank tops or T-shirts. Since I don't want a body hugging top, sleeveless tops often expose my bra under the arm. The cap sleeve and coverage with this top provides a body skimming shape, with no bra peaking out. T-shirts are fine, but I don't want to wear them all the time.. I live in a high desert climate. The weather is mostly lovely, but part of the summer can be very hot. This top is the coolest thing I own, cooler than a T-shirt. The rest of the year, it is great for layering. Plus I can wear this to work instead of a T-shirt--not work appropriate. And it has a pocket! I love pockets, and they are rare in tops (someplace to stash a tissue or my phone). Just great all around. It's become a basic that I pull out of the closet, over and over.
