The artisans have been holding meetings to talk about the values that are central to their lives now. For many, the independence they now enjoy is in stark contrast to their lives before MarketPlace. In many cases their families tried to restrict both their freedom of thought and action. Nasreen appreciates that her family supported her decision to work. Her income not only pays regular household bills and school fees, but also her father's extensive medical expenses.

When I first opened the package I thought perhaps it was the wrong item sent. It has a pale orchid cast which is lovely. I'm so glad I ordered a medium. It still has ample room, especially in the hip area which is always my concern. I'm smaller on top, but it looks good. It looks amazing with my white/somewhat gray hair. our son asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I've requested the Rima Shirt, Black Orchid! Can't wait!
I always look at the "sweep" on the garment measurements. That's the key for me to know what size to order, along with their descriptor words, of "relaxed, oversize, etc.
