Renewing materials, new lives
MarketPlace's Chindi collection makes scraps stylish while training new artisans. The chindi, small fabric pieces left over from cutting garments, are recycled into new clothing, accessories and embellishments in a variety of ways. After being cut into uniform pieces, the chindi are sewn together by trainees learning to sew straight and accurate seams on the sewing machines. Look for the C sign next to products to see the creative ways the artisans have incorporated chindis.

Beautiful Dress
Aug 29, 2019
By Anne Jefford
This dress is beautiful and is made of the finest cotton. It was uncreased when it arrived and feels so soft on my skin. I cannot recommend this item too highly and know I am going to get many compliments when I wear it. It is a perfect fit and the most subtle of colors. Well done,
ladies for your fine workmanship.

Pretty in Catalog

This is a cute dress, just not on me. Pattern is interesting. Fabric is thin - not for colder climates.

Light and roomy

The fabric is very light and design is roomy. I am busty so upper part of dress is a little tight but still wearable for me. Skirt is very full and long. Relaxed fit. Well made.
