Shipping policy

Shipping charges are based on the total order amount as shown below.

*Shipping charges listed are for Retail orders only. Wholesalers, please refer to the wholesale page.

We ship to the U.S., U.S. Territories, and Canada only. Canadian orders ship via USPS. Unfortunately, we do not ship to other international addresses.

If your item is in stock, we will ship your order within 3-5 business days after receipt. Each item is carefully inspected, packed, and shipped via FedEx ground shipping or U.S. Postal Service Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. Delays caused by FedEx, USPS, incorrect address, or the weather are beyond our control, but we apologize for any inconvenience.

If you do not receive your order within 14 days, please contact Customer Service at 800-726-8905 or customerservice@marketplaceindia.com. We cannot offer credit for orders not received after 30 days if we have shipped your purchase and the tracking information shows delivery has been made. If you provide an email address at the time of order, you can receive an email tracking notification.

Second Day or Next Day delivery to street addresses within the contiguous U.S. is available for an additional charge. Expedited deliveries must be placed before 12 noon Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, to ship out the same day. All orders placed after 12 noon or on Saturday and Sunday will ship out the following business day.

Sales Tax

If your state has enacted legislation to collect sales tax or regulatory fees on out-of-state purchases, your order may require the addition of state and local tax or fees.

Orders to Canada

Canadian orders ship via USPS, and any customs fees, duties, and taxes are the customer's responsibility.

Backorders

Each MarketPlace piece involves multiple handcrafted steps, from hand-printing fabric to detailed embroidery, so our collections are produced in small, thoughtful batches. This slow-fashion approach gives artisans the time needed for careful craftsmanship, helps prevent over-ordering and waste, and keeps traditional techniques true to their original process. The result is a garment made with intention — one you can enjoy, wear, and treasure for years to come.

If an item is on backorder, an estimated ship date will be displayed.  The item(s) will ship as soon as they become available, in the order they are received. Your card is charged when you place your order, and no additional charges will apply when the item ships.

You may cancel your backorder at any time for a full refund of that item prior to shipping by contacting Customer Service at 1-800-726-8905 or emailing customerservice@marketplaceindia.com. MarketPlace will notify you if there are any further delays with the item, or in the unfortunate event that we cannot fill your order.
