Hand embroidery also allows women to work from home and is an essential tool in our mission of empowerment. Because we work with women who are not able to find employment elsewhere, we have developed strategies to get them earning quickly.
The women learned to sew out of necessity at an early age. The stitches are simple, with about 4 to 6 basic stitches used in combinations and with variations. After only 3 hours of training, the women are ready to go, and the results are absolutely beautiful!

with the latest Spring catalogue, I was pleasantly surprized with one of your photos, actually Pushpika, and I want to thank you finally an elder model with white hair. let me explain, for the past 3 years I have debated to stop coloring my hair, usually a vibrant shade of burgandy red tones, and when my stylist informed me that now my true color is white (not grey) but actually white, I finally said lets go with it, it is a process and I am almost all white, probably 2 more hair cuts, so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart dear Pushpika, please continue for Marketplace, perhaps you have started a trend and more elders will purchase your stylish and exciting clothes.
