A Mother's Achievement: Providing Mobility Through Savings

Kalawati has had to deal with many obstacles and complications since she married. The sudden death of her husband 5 years ago left her a single mother of 4, two sons and two daughters, the oldest of which was then only 9. She joined RMM Co–operative and was determined to educate her children.

Her oldest son, now in 9th grade has to walk 30 minutes to school and to participate in other activities. She began saving and recently purchased a secondhand cycle for him and is now saving for another bicycle for her second son. "It is difficult to walk for everything," she explains. "I am really happy that I could save and afford to buy my son a cycle."

Great Fabric

In addition to liking all the design details of this tunic, I really like the fabric. It is a very sturdy knit that is perfect for winter. Only a slight stretch that hangs well without being skimpy and clumpy.

I love this tunic so much that I purchased it in the sandalwood color as well (also love). In both colors, the quality and craftmanship is great. The only complaint is that I wish it had pockets.

I really love this tunic, and ended up ordering another in Sandalwood. I had put it off because it does not have pockets, which I would prefer, but I can make it work and am glad I ordered.

Beautiful tunic

This arrived just in time for a memorial service I needed to attend. It was very comfortable to wear on such a long day and I received a number of compliments. At my age I don't buy many things, but these are special. You can't find cotton like this at fabric stores, and I'm glad that the women who design and make them are benefiting so much. The fact that they now have their own banking options and health insurance is important to me.

Beautiful pattern-needs a little shortening

I bought a P/L because I'm 5'3." Fits more like a dress so I may have to hem it a little and lose some of the pattern at the bottom. But I do love the pattern and it's very cute with leggings and flattering. I do recommend buying it.

This dress is exactly as I had hoped and expected. The fabric is soft; the dress laundered beautifully; the design on front and back is very attractive.
The quality of the dress is superb! This is my fourth dress/tunic from Marketplace, and I strongly recommend Marketplace for its quality and workmanship. I could not be happier with this lovely piece.
