Mixed media V-neck jacket combines soft French terry knit with an abundance of overdyed chindi patchwork and a bright hand embroidered design. Three-button closure. Chindi patchwork colors and patterns may vary due to the variety of upcycled fabrics.

Renewing Materials, New Lives

MarketPlace's Chindi collection makes scraps stylish while training new artisans. The chindi, small fabric pieces left over from cutting garments, are recycled into new clothing, accessories and embellishments in a variety of ways. After being cut into uniform pieces, the chindi are sewn together by trainees learning to sew straight and accurate seams on the sewing machines. Look for the C sign next to products to see the creative ways the artisans have incorporated chindis.

Jacket too small

The description stated that the jacket ran large and to consider ordering a size down. I did this. I ordered a Medium where I usually order a Large. The jacket was significantly too small. I couldn't button it in the front. If you like this jacket, order your regular size.

Love this Kohima Jacket

This jacket is well made and artfully embroidered. I bought the Large size and it fits nicely (I am 5ft 5in and 200 lbs) I have a longer torso and the coverage is just right. I think I will get a lot of use out of this garment.

Lovely Jacket

This jacket is beautiful and so unique. The French terry adds nice flexibility at the top. I receive compliments every time I wear this!
