Soft and drapey, this cotton crepe batik-printed blue-green jacket has a drawstring closure and gathered button-cuff sleeves. Bright red and orange contrast embroidery highlights the print design. Slash pockets on the front waist seam.

Health Insurance: A Path to Economic Security

Kunti has been part of Arpan Co–operative from its founding over 30 years ago. Her earnings have sustained the family though many difficult times. She is very proud of the independence and self–reliance she has achieved.

In 2016 MarketPlace introduced health insurance for the artisans. "When health insurance was first spoken about in our group, I had no idea what it meant or what it could do," Kunti explains.

"I am grateful that MarketPlace thought in advance of us needing medical help. I don't know how I would have managed otherwise. We try to save, but there are so many issues that arise in life that it is hard to put money away. The insurance allows us not to use up our savings for health and so this is my true savings."

This is really a beautiful little jacket! So many fantastic details so well designed and done to perfection - embroidery, little pockets, front tie, peplum and cuffs and of course the fabric...I love it all. I am 5'3", 133 lbs, bought a medium and the effect is flowy rather than roomy - a charming spring garment that's a pleasure to wear. I love both the jacket and the tee. The colors are rich and the pattern is unique and interesting. the material is nice and it is well made, and the styling is fun. I will enjoy wearing it! thank you to all the ladies and their creative abilities!
