Improving relationships within the cooperatives is an ongoing conversation, and communication sits at the heart of it. Instead of formal lectures, these programs are designed to be lived and felt—through participation, reflection, and shared experience. The women come ready to take part, eager to try, act, laugh, and learn together, knowing these moments give them something real to return to when communication falters in daily work.

This program focused on building trust, positive communication, and appreciation in simple but meaningful ways. It began with a trust exercise where one woman from each group was blindfolded and guided by her teammates using only their voices. Very quickly, everyone could feel the difference between rushed instructions and calm, clear guidance. The room filled with laughter and concentration, and the message landed naturally: how we speak matters.

The next activity invited the women to look more closely at one another. Drawing animal names, they reflected on the qualities each animal represents and connected those strengths to a fellow group member. One woman shared, “The cow represents kindness, respect, and a motherly nature. I see these qualities in Vimla Chachi.” Moments like these created pride, warmth, and connection across the groups.

As the session closed, the women talked about small, everyday actions—listening, smiling, helping, apologizing—and how these shape the work environment. As one participant said, “This session reminded us that even small actions can create big happiness.” Each group chose six positive communication practices and displayed them in their workspace, turning the day’s learning into a daily reminder.
