Summer Fest 2024: Nurturing Young Eco‐Warriors
Every year, a Summer Fest is held for the children of the artisans, featuring a week of exciting events filled with fun and learning. Activities include sports, arts and crafts, drama, and writing.
In 2024, the theme was The Environment. The children eagerly discussed ways they could help, like conserving electricity and water, reducing plastic use, and recycling. They enthusiastically made posters on protecting our environment and performed lively skits to showcase what they had learned.

I ordered both the black and the starlight color which is a cross betwween purple and dark blue....very lush! The black top has nice stitching around the pockets but the purple top does not. These items are nice substantial cotton knits and fall nicely. They run large at the hips although I did order one size larger than usual because I did not want them to hug my hips or chest tightly. I figure since they're 100% cotton and call for wash in cold water and low heat, I may be able to think them a bit if I find them too large. The pockets are a great bonus!
