Artisan discussion meetings have covered a wide range of issues over the years. Recently the theme has been about the values that are most important to the women. One of the qualities that came up repeatedly in the talks was Independence. These women have fought hard for the right to make their own decisions and have their voices heard. Seema shared that for her, “Independence means being able to work and support my family and making a home and identity for myself in Mumbai.”

While this top is pretty the fabric was too transparent for me. And returns are at the customer's cost.

Sirohi Shirt is beautiful

I love this item. The quality of the construction is excellent and the embroidery is just beautiful! The fit is good... I usually wear a medium but ordered a small and am glad I did.

This shirt is gorgeous

Just received the white/cobalt Sirohi shirt, and I can't wait to wear it. It is loose-fitting, just right for the hot weather, but the long sleeves mean I'll be wearing it fall and spring as well. I love the fact that it is long and has side pockets. This is definitely a winner!
