Dil Se Dil Tak

MARKETPLACE’S COOPERATIVE model is built on a clear belief: women should shape their own workplaces and make their own decisions. We invest in their growth and our approach is a true partnership. The women manage schedules, workflow, finances, and daily operations. It’s more than employment— it’s shared ownership.

Shared power is meaningful, but it can be challenging. That’s why the staff stays closely connected to each cooperative, and why we hold regular psychologist led sessions to strengthen communication.

In one session, Dil Se Dil Tak—“Heart to Heart”—each woman wrote three positive qualities about another member on a hand-shaped cutout. Compliments felt unfamiliar at first, but soon something shifted. “We’ve worked together for years, but no one had ever written appreciation for me,” Deepika said. Kavita shared that the kind words helped her find her voice.

The hands now form a colorful wall piece—a daily reminder of gratitude, confidence, and the leadership growing inside each cooperative.
